About BatchPrintGTIN.com
Last updated: April 2026
BatchPrintGTIN.com is a free, browser-based barcode and QR code generator built for small businesses, product sellers, warehouse managers, and anyone who needs to create professional barcodes or QR codes without paying for dedicated software or a monthly subscription. The tool runs entirely inside your web browser — no installation, no account, and no data ever sent to a server.
The Problem This Tool Solves
Getting retail-ready barcodes has historically been unnecessarily complicated for small businesses. Dedicated barcode software costs hundreds of dollars per year. Online generators either watermark the output, charge per download, or cap you at a handful of codes at a time. And generating a whole product catalogue — say, 200 SKUs across four size variants each — meant either paying a professional print shop or spending a full day manually copying numbers into a spreadsheet tool that wasn't designed for the job.
BatchPrintGTIN was built specifically to remove those obstacles. You can generate a single barcode in seconds or batch-generate an entire product line from a CSV file in one click, download everything as a print-ready PDF or ZIP archive, and be done. No subscription required. No per-download fees. No watermarks.
What the Tool Does
The generator creates professional barcode and QR code images in every major format used across retail, logistics, healthcare, and marketing. Enter your barcode number or QR content, choose a format, adjust styling if needed, and download as a PNG, SVG, or print-ready PDF in seconds. For larger catalogues, upload a CSV file and the batch generator produces all your codes at once — as individual files in a ZIP or arranged on label sheets ready to print.
The built-in PDF Page Designer formats barcodes onto standard label sheets — Avery 5160, Avery 5163, Uline, and custom dimensions — and exports a print-ready PDF that goes straight to any laser or inkjet printer. A job that once required dedicated label software and a GS1 account can be completed in minutes, for free.
Barcode and QR Code Formats Supported
BatchPrintGTIN supports over 20 barcode and 2D code formats:
- Retail barcodes: UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8 — for grocery, pharmacy, Amazon, Walmart, and all major retail point-of-sale systems
- Logistics and inventory: Code 128, Code 39, ITF-14, GS1-128, Codabar, MSI/Plessey — for shipping labels, warehouse shelf tags, and asset tracking
- 2D codes: QR Code (with full styling: dot patterns, gradients, logo overlays, frames), Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec Code
- QR content types: URL, plain text, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, WiFi, vCard contact card, Google Maps location, Zoom meeting, calendar event, and Bitcoin payment
All formats are available in the single-code generator, the batch CSV generator, and the GTIN Builder tool that auto-generates full product lines from a GS1 Company Prefix.

- Schools, libraries, and non-profits labelling equipment inventories, library collections, and event check-in systems without a software budget
- Tradespeople and service businesses encoding contact details in vCard QR codes for business cards, and placing review-request QR codes on invoices and thank-you cards
How It Works — and Why Your Data Stays Private
BatchPrintGTIN is a static web application built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Every barcode and QR code is generated inside your browser using client-side JavaScript libraries. Nothing you enter — barcode numbers, product GTINs, QR code URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, CSV files, or uploaded logo images — is transmitted to any server or stored anywhere outside your browser tab.
When you close or refresh the tab, all data is gone. There are no user accounts, no login sessions, and no cloud storage. The tool works fully offline after the initial page load. This architecture was chosen deliberately: it means the service can be offered for free at any scale, and it means you have no privacy risk when entering commercially sensitive data like GS1 Company Prefixes, product identifiers, or internal SKUs.
BatchPrintGTIN utilizes open-source JavaScript libraries loaded from public CDN sources for barcode rendering, QR codes creation, PDF export and ZIP packaging.
GS1 Registration Disclaimer
BatchPrintGTIN.com is an independent tool with no affiliation with GS1, GS1 US, GS1 Canada, or any GS1 Member Organisation. The tool generates barcode images from numbers you provide. It does not issue, register, assign, or validate GS1 Company Prefixes or GTINs. For retail compliance — selling through Amazon, Walmart, grocery chains, or any major retailer — you must obtain a GS1 Company Prefix directly from GS1 US (United States) or GS1 Canada (Canada) before assigning GTINs to your products. Always scan and verify every barcode with a real scanner before committing to a commercial print run.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is BatchPrintGTIN really free — are there hidden charges?
Yes, completely free. There is no paid tier, no premium plan, no per-download charge, and no watermark on any generated image. The generator is free for personal and commercial use. The only thing the site asks is that you allow advertising to display, which is how it covers its operating costs.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after the initial page load the tool works without an internet connection. All barcode and QR code generation runs entirely in your browser. If you lose connectivity mid-session, you can continue generating and downloading codes normally.
Can I use the generated barcodes commercially — on retail packaging, Amazon listings, etc.?
Yes. The barcode images generated by this tool are yours to use however you like. For retail use (scanning at a point of sale, Amazon listings, Google Shopping), the numbers you encode must be GS1-registered GTINs that you obtained from GS1 US or GS1 Canada. The images themselves have no restriction. For internal-use barcodes (warehouse labels, asset tags, event tickets) you can use any data and no GS1 registration is needed.
How many barcodes can I generate at once?
There is no hard cap. In practice, the batch generator handles hundreds of barcodes per CSV upload without difficulty on a modern computer. Very large batches — thousands of rows — may take a minute or two to render and package into a ZIP file. Processing happens entirely in your browser, so generation speed depends on your device.
What file formats can I download?
PNG (at 1×, 2×, 4×, 8× resolution or specific DPI presets), SVG (vector, scales to any size without quality loss), and PDF (via the Page Designer, formatted for standard label sheets or custom dimensions). For batch generation, PNGs and SVGs are packaged into a ZIP file, or you can export the entire batch directly to a formatted PDF.
Does BatchPrintGTIN issue or register GTIN numbers?
No. BatchPrintGTIN generates barcode images only. It does not assign, issue, or register GTIN numbers. To get a legitimate GS1 GTIN for retail use in the USA, register at gs1us.org. For Canada, register at gs1ca.org. Once you have your GS1 Company Prefix and item reference numbers, use this tool to generate the barcode images from those numbers.
I found a bug or my barcode isn't scanning. What should I do?
First, verify your input data — for UPC-A, ensure you are entering exactly 11 digits (the generator appends the check digit automatically). For retail scanning, download at 300 DPI or higher and print at no smaller than 80% of GS1's nominal size (approximately 30mm wide). If you are still having trouble, email us at support@batchprintgtin.com with the barcode type, data, and a description of the issue.
